FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER, preferably with office management skills or potential

The position of Full Charge Bookkeeper requires many different skills as noted below and will provide satisfaction with new and exciting challenges.

-Proficiency in Quickbooks using Accounts Payable, Accrued Payroll, Cash Disbursements and Receipts.  Using Purchase Journals for posting to the General Ledger, Recording journal entries and reversing results in a Trial Balance. Each month, Balance Sheets and Financial Statements will be created to see the overall productivity of the company.

-Reconciling bank account and monitor for ACH payments

-Recording, tracking and depreciating purchased assets using Sage Software

-Amortize property taxes, dues, subscriptions and other contracts for expensing monthly

-Record, distribute, track and expense trade accounts

-Provide HR duties which include reporting employee census to health, dental, AFLAC insurances as well as 401K reporting, maintaining confidential employee records

-Complete Federal and State Employment Data forms as requested by deadline

-Prepare year end forms including W-2s and 1099s for winners of prizes valued over $600

-Generating any reports requested by staff

-Back up office staff as needed for lunches, vacations or illnesses

-Work closely with the Sales Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager and Traffic Manager (who enters orders into the system that controls airing of all commercials)

-Participate in hiring of office staff

-Must be a Notary Public or eligible to apply for notarizing billing
